Valea lui Stan (Stan’s Valley), in Arges County, Romania, is a natural canyon carved by the waters of Stan’s creek. A fun, albeit a bit physically challenging trail in the summer, when the waters are low, it’s a very different beast around April, when gathered rain water from surrounding mountains turns it in to a hair-raising canyoning experience.
