Trascăului Mountains (Munții Trascăului) are part of the Western Romanian Carpathians. Szekely’s Rock (Piatra Secuiului) is a northern ridge of these mountains, overlooking the village of Rimetea . While not very difficult, the hike is spectacular and offers great views of nearby villages and surrounding mountains and plains.
